Instructions

Peel and grate a piece of fresh ginger. If you don’t have fresh ginger, you can use the spice (ground ginger).

Put water to boil in a pot and place 1 cup of chopped pumpkin to cook. When it is tender, drain and use a fork or blender to grind it up until you get a puree consistency. Let it cool.

Place the grated ginger, pumpkin puree, chopped banana, yogurt, milk, and honey into your blender. Blend well.

Serve in two cups and dust some cinnamon on top.

Tips & Tricks

We make the pumpkin puree from scratch but you can use a store-bought one. If you make it from scratch we recommend that you cut the pumpkin into small pieces so that it cooks faster and cuts down the cooking time.

Just as we stated, one cup of pumpkin puree is equivalent to 1 cup of pumpkin.
