Instructions
1
If you don't have cooked rice, begin by making some. For this, add a tablespoon of olive oil in a pot, and once it is hot, add the sliced clove of garlic. When it begins to color, add the rice. Stir it for a couple of minutes before adding the hot water with a pinch of salt. Cook over high heat for 7 minutes and then turn down the heat to low and cook for 8 more minutes. If in this time, it absorbed all of the water and is still hard, add more water. Let it sit for a little bit.
2
Zest the lemon peel and squeeze the lemon. In a bowl, add 1 tablespoon of lemon zest, the soy sauce, and juice from 1/2 lemon. Pour this dressing onto the peeled pre-cooked shrimp. Let it marinate while you make the rest of the recipe.
3
Boil the green beans in a pot with water and little salt. Once they are tender, remove and set aside.
4
Finely chop a clove of garlic and a bit of ginger. Finely slice the onion.
5
In a pan add some olive oil. When it is hot add the garlic and ginger and lightly fry over medium-low heat, taking care not to burn them. Add the onion and cook until clear and tender. Then add the green beans and sauté for 3-4 minutes.
6
Add the cooked shrimp, along with the dressing and cook altogether with the other ingredients for a minute.
7
In your bowl add the rice, then the shrimp and vegetable mix.
Tips & Tricks
We used pre-cooked shrimp in this recipe. If you have fresh shrimp, we suggest you cook them beforehand.
Finish off the bowl by adding a handful of sesame seeds on top.
