7 oz

1 tsp

Instructions
1
Wash the leek and cut into smaller pieces. Set aside.
2
Dice the chicken into medium size cubes. Add salt and pepper. Drizzle some olive oil into a deep pan and cook the chicken for 4 minutes on high heat. Remove the chicken from the pan and set aside.
3
Lower the heat and add the leek and chopped garlic into the same pan and cook for 4 minutes or until the garlic browns and the leek is a bit more tender.
4
Add the chicken to the pan that you had set aside, the chicken stock, and the cream. Mix well.
5
Add the pasta, stir with a wooden spoon and let all the ingredients cook for 15 minutes without covering with a lid. Mix occasionally so that the pasta doesn't burn.
6
Add the mustard and the juice from half a small lemon, sprinkle some dry basil and pepper to taste. Stir the ingredients.
7
Serve with grated parmesan cheese on top and enjoy!
Tips & Tricks
Take your pick and use either basil or fresh cilantro. Take into account that with the basil you will get a creamy and smooth flavor, and with the cilantro you will get a more herbal touch.
You can use whichever short pasta variety you have at your dispense.
