Instructions

Preheat the oven to 350°F.

Combine the flour, sugar, cocoa powder (fat-free and unsweetened if possible), yeast, and salt in a big bowl. Stir well with a spoon.

Beat an egg in another bowl. Add the tubs of yogurt (plain and sugar-free), melted butter, and vanilla extract. Mix until smooth.

Add the mixture to the bowl containing the dry ingredients and mix gently but thoroughly, making sure there are no avoid lumps. The consistency of the batter will be quite thick. This is normal.

Grease a cake pan or suitable ovenproof dish with butter and pour in the batter. Bake at 350°F, about 30-40 minutes.

The cake will be ready when you prick the center with a toothpick and it comes out clean.
